2- Favourite Growth Frameworks of Elena Verna

It is always a pleasure to hear Elena Verna speak about growth. In the newest episode of Lenny’s Podcast, she talks about growth tactics that never work as well as listing her favourite growth frameworks. Her favourite frameworks are:

  • Growth Loops: They focus on creating self-reinforcing cycles where each new user or action increases the likelihood of attracting even more users. By designing features and incentives that encourage sharing and engagement, momentum naturally builds over time. Essentially, it’s about creating a loop that keeps feeding itself and scaling continuously.

  • Race Car Framework: It emphasizes removing friction in processes to accelerate results. Like a high-performance vehicle, each element must be fine-tuned and streamlined for maximum speed. The fewer the roadblocks, the faster you reach your objectives.

  • Adjacent User Theory: It targets users who are just beyond your core audience, allowing your brand or product to expand in close but untapped markets. By making small adjustments to accommodate nearby segments, you can significantly broaden your overall reach. It’s a strategic way to grow without completely reinventing your offer.
